CHROMA RISING is the brain child of designer and scenic artist Stephanie Busing.
It is a company on a mission to design murals for atypical surfaces, such as the exteriors of homes and blighted buildings.
CHROMA RISING is an Atlanta-based business, drawing on a network of Atlanta-based artists and painting professionals that are poised to add color and good design to any space.

“CHROMA RISING is my next step towards making art accessible in any setting, providing custom mural designs for homes and commercial/community building exteriors (and interiors). What sets CHROMA RISING apart is that it takes a wholistic approach in creating a color scheme for a building by considering: location, the layout of surrounding land and flora, architecture and aesthetic features, and the function of the building itself.
My designs are both unique enough to make a building stand out as a beautiful piece of art, and subtle enough to blend in amongst neighboring structures with elegance and style. With a background in scenic design and scenic painting for theatre, film/TV, murals/exhibits, I have been been studying three-dimensional composition, color, and the power of curated space to convey a story for over 15 years. I am now turning my focus to my home city of Atlanta, hoping to bring dynamic design to buildings in any and all communities with grace and contextual sensitivity.”
